- Place of Residence: Morningstar (Beta Age), Hope (Gamma Age)
Background
Django Marković began his culinary career as a sous-chef in the central kitchen of the Last Frontier colony ship. Skilled in blending Earth traditions with inventive frontier ingredients, he helped feed hundreds of settlers until the crash landing on VOI 700 D. After the disaster destroyed the hydroponic farms, Django adapted recipes using local miral leaf, bilax root, and river-caught proteins.
In January 2627 he left the provisional mess halls to open Django’s Diner in Morningstar. There, his warm hospitality and signature Serbian Soup — a family recipe updated with frontier produce and smoked river ham — quickly made the diner a beloved refuge for shift-weary workers.
After the Great War’s end on 24 March 2631 and the 2632 shift to Communardism, Django’s operations were absorbed into so called Federal Hostels and Saloons, and the diner closed. Marković now serves as Head Chef in the Federal Kitchen — overseeing meal planning, recipe development, and overall kitchen operations under the Communardist economic plans.
