One Hundred and Two Light Years Away (OHATLYA) is a sci-fi western where humanity’s last survivors face a stark reality: refugees on the fragile and divided planet VOI 700 D, they are no longer the dominant force. Struggling with their own divisions and a precarious right to remain, they must confront the same flaws that doomed Earth—or risk losing their place in the universe forever.

Spanning epochs from the daring exodus of the Alpha Age to the fragile peace of the Gamma Age and beyond, OHATLYA is a storyworld of resilience, conflict, and the search for meaning among the stars. Each age offers untold stories, waiting to explore the trials and triumphs of humanity’s journey across time and space.

The storyworld of OHATLYA consists - roughly considered - at the present time of three different phases:

1. The Alpha Age: The journey begins aboard the Last Frontier, humanity's colossal ark, a vessel of hope and despair as Earth’s final exodus takes flight.
2. The Beta Age: Settlement brings its own perils as humanity stakes its claim on VOI 700 D. These turbulent early years culminate in the brutal Great War, pitting ExoHumans against the planet’s Native Tribes, only to be resolved by a fragile Peace Treaty.
3. The Gamma Age: Peace births opportunity—and conflict. With a newly formed democratic government, humanity faces the challenges of integration, survival, and the shadow of its own nature.

VOI 700 D is a tidally locked planet, meaning one side always faces its star, while the opposite remains in perpetual darkness. This unique characteristic divides the planet into three extreme zones:

• The Habitual Belt → A narrow, livable strip between the scorching Desert Side and the frozen Dark Side.
• The Dark Side → A permanent nightscape with frigid temperatures and deadly predators. A refuge for those who seek to escape the control of society.
• The Desert Side → A blistering wasteland, where sandstorms and scorching heat make survival an extreme challenge.

• Earth → Humanity’s lost homeworld, now an abandoned husk. Once a cradle of civilization, centuries of ecological collapse, war, and resource depletion led to its evacuation in 2421. Though no living ExoHuman has seen Earth for over a century, its legacy endures in the stories, beliefs, and struggles of its exiled people.
