MIRA TANN’S DOCKHOUSE

Overview

Mira Tann, one of the few fisherwomen in her twenties, specialized in cooperative ventures, often joining other boats to support larger catches. Her dockhouse was small, more a living space than a workshop, as most of her work took place aboard others’ boats. Fish were always sold via the Arla Town Market or in bulk to the Funkenberg Fishfactory.

Her dockhouse was destroyed in the Great War during the raid on Arla Town.

Look and Feel

The dockhouse smelled of woodsmoke and damp canvas. Lanternlight flickered over a sparsely furnished room, its walls lined with little more than boots, coats, and a single oar. Mira’s home was more a berth than a workshop — a reflection of her role as a cooperative fisher.
