ELIRA DAHN’S DOCKHOUSE

Overview

Elira Dahn, one of the youngest fishers, specialized in lantern fishing — using bright, QFB-powered lamps in the perpetual twilight of Lake Arla to draw shoals toward surface nets. This method was unusual, as most fishermen relied on simpler techniques, but Elira’s innovation often gave her larger catches. Her fish were distributed through the Arla Town Market and in bulk to the Funkenberg Fishfactory. All gear repairs were carried out via the cooperative Tiller & Net Fishing Supplies.

The dockhouse was destroyed during the Great War, when the Alliance of Native Tribes raided and burned Arla Town as a whole.

Look and Feel

The dockhouse glowed with a strange brilliance in the Habitual Belt’s twilight. QFB-powered lamps pulsed with a steady white-blue light, their reflections dancing across the lake’s dark waters. The faint hum of the batteries gave the space an uncanny technological edge compared to the rustic workshops around it. Nets shimmered in the artificial glow, marking Elira’s dock as a beacon of innovation along the shoreline.

Tactical Advice for Dungeon Masters

Elira stands out as the “innovator” of the Quarter, with her reliance on scarce Quantum Fusion Batteries making her both admired and resented. PCs may be drawn into disputes over access to her tech, or find themselves protecting her dockhouse from rivals seeking to cripple her advantage.
