No one knows their true name — “Zonko” means “Creators” in Shang Telu, the language of the Native Tribes. Their presence on VOI 700 D predates the arrival of the ExoHumans and the creation of the Natives.

The Zonko do not have a home planet. Instead, they are space nomads who live aboard advanced interstellar ships, drifting between systems and conducting long-term experiments across multiple worlds. Their culture is shaped by this nomadic, observational existence, prioritizing mobility, detachment, and precision over permanence or territory.

While rarely encountered directly, their influence looms large through remnants of their technology, scattered across the planet. To ExoHumans, the Zonko are a haunting vision of what humanity might evolve into—beings of near-omnipotent power but questionable empathy.

Despite their alien origins, the Zonko look disturbingly like ExoHumans:
