Jean Jacque Courtier, Writer:

J.J. Courtier wrote the famous novel Like Leaves From A Tree. In this work, written in the style of a family saga, the author describes three generations of a family traveling on the multigenerational spaceship Last Frontier - from their departure on Earth to their arrival on VOI 700 D. In the book, the phrase “May you see blue skies and green meadows again” appears for the first time, which is now frequently used by the people on VOI 700 D as a farewell formula. However, since J.J. Courtier is a pseudonym, no one knows exactly who is behind it.

Jamal Johanson is a politician of the party of the Individualists from Hope. He is a former farmer and special forces officer. After the Great War he was accused of several war crimes and sentenced to labor in the Federal Copper Mine of Firetown. In 2635 he got pardoned unter mysterious circumstances and ran as the top candidate for the Individualist Party in 2636.

Mandla Friedberg from New Kourou, originally a Honga warrior, became a prominent figure in the Federal Confederation after being nursed back to health by a human medic during the Great War, whom he later married. Now serving as the Federal Sheriff, he is committed to maintaining peace between humans and Natives on VOI 700 D.

Jane Mendoza is the Federal Confederacy's best known and most wanted criminal. As the founder of the notorious Jane Mendoza Gang, she is responsible for much of the crime in the Habitual Belt and Firetown.

Guy Mikkelstein (*2598), Outlaw, Co-Founder of the Jane Mendoza Gang

Guy Mikkelstein used to be the founder of the infamous Saloon Gloria. After the Great War he became one of the Co-Founders of the Jane Mendoza Gang. As Associate he is responsible for the drug business of the gang.

Ayumi Nakamura is a politician from New Kourou. She is a member of the political party of the Communards.After the withdrawal of Supreme Councilor Aisha Patel, Ayumi Nakamura got nominated as top candidate of the Communard Party for the 2636-elections.

Sandra Yamamoto (*2604), Musician and Singer:

Sandra Yamamoto is a member of the Culinary Team at the Federal Food Plant in Hope. She has been making music in her spare time since she was very young and composes her own pieces, which she performs regularly at Hope's Federal Hostel and Saloon. This includes the song "Endless Days", with which she poetically describes life in the Habitual Belt. Through employees of the Federal Courier Service, the song spread to the other reservations. It is one of the most frequently played songs in the Habitual Belt's Federal Saloons, along with the now anthemic folk song “A home, A hope.”
