Kaian “Raven” Montclair was born aboard the spaceship Last Frontier to a family with noble Exohuman roots, his surname, Montclair, carries historical significance from Earth, symbolizing leadership and distinction.

After the crash landing of Last Frontier on VOI 700-D, Kaian's family was granted land by the Free State of Settlers to establish a farm. During the Great War, Kaian fought for his people as part of the Volunteer Army of Man. After the Exohuman army's surrender, he returned home only to find his family dead—murdered by Outlaws who had raided the remains of their farm.

This tragedy drove Kaian to seek justice, but the Outlaws responsible for his family’s death remain free, haunting his resolve. Determined to make a difference, Kaian applied for a position in the Federal Sheriff's Department through the GAIA system. His acceptance marked the start of a new chapter in his life, one focused on protecting others from the chaos and violence that tore his own life apart.

Known for his sharp intellect and strategic mind, Kaian excels in analyzing threats and uncovering hidden dangers. Assigned to escort and protect the caravans of the Federal Courier Service, he ensures their safe passage through the volatile landscapes of VOI 700-D. His methods are often unconventional, blending disciplined law enforcement with insights gained from observing the Native Tribes. Despite his professional success, Kaian remains driven by the hope of one day bringing the Outlaws who destroyed his family to justice.
