HUSSAINI CARPENTRY (WORKSHOP)
Overview
- Location: Industrial Ring, Morningstar
- Address: NW Industrial Ring Rd 2
- Surroundings: Immediately adjacent to the Fogwood Sawmill Headquarters
Founded in November 2626 by master sawmill operator Jaque Hussaini, Hussaini Carpentry Inc. transformed raw timber from Fogwood Sawmill Inc. into finished goods—furniture, framing beams, and bespoke woodwork — for Morningstar and other settlements of the Free State of Settlers. Encouraged and partially funded by his former boss Hanata Ito (who retains a 49 percent share), Jaque built a thriving workshop that bridged bulk milling and frontier construction trades.
After the Peace Treaty and the creation of the Federal Confederation in 2632, Hussaini Carpentry was incorporated into the Federal Carpentry-network but continued operating its plant under the supervision of the Federal Allotment Agency.

Look and Feel
The air hums with sanders and chisel strikes. Sawdust motes swirl in shafts of yellow-tinted lamp light. Rich wood stacked in neat piles fill the scent. Apprentices and Manual Labor Bots shuttle boards between benches and finishers. Upstairs, Jaque reviews blueprints while clerks call out order numbers below.

Illegal Interactions:
- Smuggle Rare Veneers: Slip out boards of forbidden or endangered hardwood before they’re logged for legal sale.
- Bribe for Expedited Service: Pay off a clerk to leapfrog your order ahead of others during peak demand.
- Plant Defect Reports: Forge a quality-control flag on a rival’s shipment to force them into costly rework.
- Tamper with Bots: Reprogram a Maintenance Bot to misroute or damage batches of competitor’s planks.
