ALLIANCE OF NATIVE TRIBES

Overview

The Alliance of Native Tribes was a historic coalition of the four natives tribes in the Eastern Equatorial Section of VOI 700 D’s Habitual Belt, formed during the Great War (2629–2631) in response to ExoHuman expansion.

Spearheaded by the Honga, the largest and most nomadic tribe, this unprecedented alliance marked the first instance of sustained intertribal military collaboration beyond the ceremonial cooperation seen in the Lakira Shime. The alliance became a symbol of the Native Tribes’ unity and determination to protect their lands and traditions.

Historical Context

The ExoHumans’ crash landing in 2625 disrupted the delicate balance of VOI 700 D’s ecosystems. Stripped of most of their advanced technology, ExoHumans sought to implement the Human Settlement Plan (HSP), which necessitated resource extraction and infrastructure development. This expansion clashed with Native values that regarded the planet’s resources as sacred communal property.

The Honga Tribe, with their extensive interactions with ExoHumans, initiated the call for a Great Council after ExoHumans ignored an ultimatum to halt their destructive activities. The council unified the Honga, Trando, Senti, and Orlanda tribes, collectively raising an army of 100,000 warriors to confront the settlers.

Physical Superiority of Natives

The Alliance benefited from the Natives’ inherent physical advantages over ExoHumans:

Organizational Structure of the Army

The Native Alliance's army was unprecedented in its size and coordination. It was structured as follows:

The End of the Great War and Dismantle of the Alliance

The Native Alliance reached its peak during the final phase of the Great War in early 2631. Following the sabotage of ExoHuman QFB charging infrastructure by the Anti-War Movement, the Volunteer Army of Man lost its ability to recharge energy-based weaponry, leading to the rapid collapse of ExoHuman resistance. With no means to sustain their war effort, ExoHumans formally surrendered unconditionally on April 8, 2631.

The signing of the Peace Treaty later that year formalized the dismantling of the Alliance. The treaty declared ExoHumans as “guests” on VOI 700 D and established Article 6, requiring Native oversight of ExoHuman behavior to ensure compliance with the treaty's provisions. The alliance transitioned into a more structured supervisory role led by the Honga Tribe.

The Native ExoHuman Behavior Supervision Program replaced the Alliance as the primary mechanism for ensuring the preservation of VOI 700 D's ecosystems and the cultural values of its tribes. The Honga, as the largest and most influential tribe, accepted the responsibility of appointing the Permanent Supervisor, a role that has since shaped interspecies relations during the Gamma Age.

Legacy

The Native Alliance remains a powerful symbol of resistance and unity, shaping the course of history on VOI 700 D and influencing the precarious balance of power in the Gamma Age.
