Background
Sergio Adams was born aboard the Last Frontier into a life destined for infamy. By the time he was 22, he had been sentenced to the starship’s prison for allegedly murdering a passenger in 2627 — a crime he denied and for which no body was ever recovered. His life took a horrific turn during the Last Frontier’s crash landing, when a fire engulfed the prison wing. Trapped in his cell, Sergio was nearly burned alive before the structure failed, and he narrowly escaped.
Severely burned and left disfigured, Sergio was transferred to an improvised hospital after the landing. He seized the opportunity to escape custody, vanishing into the chaos of the Beta Age. Officially declared a missing person, Sergio spent the next several years as a contract killer, earning a reputation for brutal efficiency and spending his downtime in the underbelly of Firetown's Entertainment District.
When the founding of the Federal Confederation diminished the Entertainment District’s criminal havens, Sergio found himself struggling for shelter and income. In 2633, he joined the Jane Mendoza Gang, finding his niche in Elke van Veldhoven’s department. Now tasked as the doorkeeper of the secret gambling den in the Firetown Billiard Saloon, Sergio operates as a brutal enforcer, leveraging fear and violence to maintain control.
