The Mayor`s Council is a council of the Federal Conferation of the ExoHumans on VOI 700 D. The Council is based at the Western Civic Ring in New Kourou and is the legislative institution of human democracy.

The Mayor`s Council members are made up of the elected Mayors of the four reservations of New Kourou, Firetown, Hope and Morningstar. Every elected mayor is automatically a member of the Mayor`s Council.

The Mayor`s Council was established as a second legislative body by a resolution of the Aisha Patel] government of the [[communards|Communards on February 26, 2634.

The main function of the Mayor's Council is to find common solutions to implement new legal requirements of the Federal Council for the local order of the reservations.

In addition the Mayor's Council has the function to pool the local individual interests and give them a voice to the Federal Council and the Supreme Councilor.

Mayors are each elected for a four-year term. Accordingly, each mayor is a member of the Mayor`s Council for at least four years.

The Mayor's Council meets once a quarter in New Kourou. In each quarter of the year, a different reservation presides over the council. The order is fixed and the same every year:

• Quarter 1 (January-March): New Kourou
• Quarter 2 (April-June): Firetown
• Quarter 3 (July-September): Hope
• Quarter 4 (October-December): Morningstar

The main task of the Presidency is to prepare and lead the work of the Mayor`s Council.The second task is to communicate with the other democratic institutions of the Federal Confederation.
