GUY MIKKELSTEIN
Race and Faction
- Species: ExoHuman
- Age: 46 years (born 2598 aboard the Last Frontier)
Background
Guy Mikkelstein was born aboard the Last Frontier into a third-generation ExoHuman family renowned for their defiance of authority. His grandparents famously smuggled their dog, Gloria, aboard the ship in protest against strict regulations. When Gloria was eventually euthanized due to these regulations, the Mikkelstein family’s disdain for bureaucratic control deepened, shaping Guy’s anti-establishment views from an early age.
After arriving on VOI 700 D, Guy founded Saloon Gloria in Firetown in 2628. The bar quickly became a symbol of rebellion, decorated with Gloria's taxidermied figure as a tribute to his family’s resistance. Saloon Gloria became a 24-hour haven for alcohol, music, and underground activities, attracting a following that shared Guy’s anti-authoritarian values.
Following the Great War, the Federal Confederation's shift to Communardism under GAIA led to Guy’s forced removal as manager of Saloon Gloria. Reassigned as a lumberjack in Morningstar, Guy eventually escaped and co-founded the Jane Mendoza Gang, becoming a key player in the outlaw organization and leading their operations on the Dark Side and Eastern Equatorial Section of the Habitual Belt.

- Oversees the internal structure and hierarchy of the Jane Mendoza Gang
- Ensures smooth coordination between the gang’s operations, including smuggling, extortion, and recruitment

Personality
Guy Mikkelstein is known for his rebellious nature and strong anti-authoritarian beliefs. A self-described “anti-establishment space punk,” he rejects any form of regulation or control, instead advocating for individual freedom. His leadership in the Jane Mendoza Gang reflects his disdain for the Federal Confederation and its imposed rules. Guy is also a deeply nostalgic individual, as evidenced by his emotional connection to Gloria, the family dog he never got to know alive, whose death became a symbol of resistance against oppressive systems.
Though charismatic, Guy is a hard-edged individual. His time as an Outlaw has hardened him, and he is quick to reject any form of governance that impedes his ideals of freedom. He is known for his unconventional thinking and ability to inspire others to join him in defiance of authority.
Political Orientation
Guy’s anti-establishment ideology was deeply ingrained by his family's history of defiance aboard the Last Frontier. He views bureaucracy and regulation as inherently oppressive, seeing the strict rules of the Federal Confederation and its GAIA system as enemies of personal freedom. His role in founding the Jane Mendoza Gang only deepened this stance, as he and his fellow outlaws live in open defiance of the laws of the Confederation.
Physical Appearance
Guy Mikkelstein is tall, standing at 1.85 meters, with an athletic build developed from his time as a lumberjack. He has a rugged appearance, with weathered skin from working in the mountains of Morningstar before his escape. His hair is dark, often left disheveled, and his eyes are a piercing blue, reflecting his sharp mind and rebellious spirit.
Guy also has a large tattoo of Gloria, the shepherd dog, on his left arm, a permanent reminder of his family’s resistance and a symbol of the values he continues to fight for.
Role in the Jane Mendoza Gang
After fleeing the system, Guy became one of the founding members of the Jane Mendoza Gang. He is considered as the Associate who is responsible for the Gang Organization.
