Blinded at birth, Vicky Ahuja grew up immersed in sound and story aboard the Last Frontier. She excelled as a researcher at Last Frontier University, curating the ship’s Earth Pop archives. In October 2626, driven by a passion for music and community, she opened The Floodgate — Hope’s first Space Drinks Inc. bar — where live karaoke and Earth Pop cover bands battled homesickness under perpetual twilight.
After the Great War and the 2631 Communard nationalization, Vicky’s pub was shuttered and folded into the new Federal Hostel and Saloon of Hope. Recognizing her talent for hospitality, the Federal Confederation appointed her landlady there.
Vicky sought to heal frontier isolation through shared song, believing that Earth Pop’s melodies could unite and uplift even the bleakest days on VOI 700 D.
Though constrained by federal rules, she quietly defies the one‑drink limit by smuggling in Earth Pop performances, determined to keep Hope’s musical heart beating.
