Overview
From its founding in late 2626 until destruction in early 2631, Arla Town’s Local Community Center served as the exohuman settlement’s administrative hub, public assembly hall, and referendum venue. It housed the elected Contact Person’s office, civil-registry archives, and two-week balloting booths. In its modest sub-basement lay the Arla Local GAIA Micro-Hub — a Tier-C “mini-GAIA” node offering basic permit services and emergency simulations.
The building fell into ruin during the Great War and stands overgrown among the remains of the fish factory and docks in the Gamma Age.

Look and Feel
Perpetual twilight and a fine mist from Lake Arla’s infamous “Haze Doom” drift through simple polyglass windows into a utilitarian foyer scented of damp wood, fresh parchment — and the faint, briny tang of smoked fish. The hush of distant waves mingles with the soft whirr of the lone holo-kiosk. In the assembly hall, shafts of dusk-filtered light slant across worn wooden benches as settlers queue at the ballot booths, mist curling around their boots. Outside, Guarding Bots patrol silent circuits over weathered planks, their soft servo-whirrs the only indication of order in the mist-laden air.
