Patrick Yassin was born on the Last Frontier spaceship and grew up as part of a family dedicated to humanity’s survival and hope for a new home. His early life was marked by academic success; he attended the Last Frontier University, where he excelled in Mechanical Engineering.

In 2625, tragedy struck during the Last Frontier’s crash landing. A fire broke out in the passenger cabins, killing Patrick’s entire family. Patrick, who had been away from the cabin, was the sole survivor. This loss left him deeply scarred, and he spent four years in therapeutic care, struggling to reconcile his grief.

The outbreak of the Great War provided Patrick with a sense of purpose. He volunteered for the Volunteer Army of Man and channeled his pain into his service. Patrick's actions during the war were marked by exceptional bravery but also by a fierce hatred of the Alliance of Native Tribes, whom he irrationally blamed for the loss of his family. This vendetta sometimes pushed him to extreme and dangerous actions on the battlefield.

When the war ended, Patrick viewed the Peace Treaty as a betrayal of humanity’s sacrifices. Despite his bitterness, he tried to move on, and in 2632, GAIA assigned him to a Quality Control Inspector role at the Federal Copper Plant, testing and inspecting copper products for compliance with federal standards. However, Patrick was discovered to have a rare allergy to copper and other metals, rendering him unsuitable for the position.

When a doorkeeper at the Firetown Bowling Alley was stabbed by a patron under the influence of Shika, GAIA reassigned Patrick to the role. His physical fitness, combat experience, and disciplined nature made him a perfect candidate for the position. After receiving specialized training, Patrick embraced his new role, using his skills to maintain order in a place where tensions often ran high.
