History
The FAC of Morningstar was inaugurated on March 5, 2634, as part of the Federal Confederation’s efforts to expand the allotment system. Introduced under Supreme Councilor Aisha Patel’s Communard government, the system ensures equitable access to resources across all reservations. Morningstar’s FAC was specifically tailored to serve the timber-producing community's unique needs.
Architectural Significance
- Construction Material: The FAC is constructed using timber and stone sourced locally from Morningstar’s forests and quarries, showcasing the settlement’s reliance on its natural surroundings.
Design Features:
- Windows and Insulation: Large, wooden-framed windows allow natural light to flood the facility during the never-ending day of the Habitual Belt. Insulated walls ensure warmth in the cooler mountain climate.
- Lighting: The bioluminescent fungi Luminofera Dualis provide sustainable and warm lighting.
- Vertical Gardens: Adorning the exterior, these gardens not only symbolize growth and renewal but also contribute to the building’s sustainable ethos.
