At this moment the spaceship is suddenly hit by tremendous pressure waves! Where these pressure waves come from remains unexplained. But the damage is immense: About 10,000 pioneers lose their lives, large parts of the spaceship are devastated and the Last Frontier loses contact with Earth. Nevertheless, the crew manages to escape into the vastness of space. But what now? Should they return to their destroyed earth or continue to another earth like planet, 62 light years away (in their speed; 124 y.), to provide a better home for their descendants? Since earth offers no future, the survivors choose option two.
