GLOWTOAD
Overview
The Glowtoad, known to the Orlanda Tribe as “Yanalak” (meaning “Voice of the World”), is a luminescent amphibian found throughout the misty forest edges and twilight riverbanks of the Asari Region on VOI 700 D. These small, bioluminescent creatures are best known for their glowing dorsal spots and rhythmic croaks that echo through the dense twilight undergrowth, becoming a key part of the ambiance.
Glowtoads play an essential ecological role as insect controllers and are regarded by many tribes as spiritual guides, believed to carry messages through their songs from the spirit world. Their presence near settlements is seen as a protective omen.
