GLACIOK
Overview
The Glaciok is a massive, solitary apex predator that dominates the Ralar Region on the Dark Side of VOI 700 D. Perfectly adapted to the extreme cold and perpetual darkness, the Glaciok relies on heat and scent detection rather than vision, making it an effective hunter in an environment where traditional eyesight is useless.
With snow-white to silver-grey fur, razor-sharp claws, and powerful limbs, the Glaciok moves with both speed and precision, ambushing prey that emits even the faintest heat signature. Its presence is a stabilizing force in the Ralar ecosystem, keeping prey populations in check.

Reproduction and Lifecycle
The Glaciok is a solitary creature that only interacts with others of its kind during the brief annual mating season. During this time, Glacioks traverse vast territories to seek out a mate, guided primarily by scent. Once mating concludes, the pair separates, resuming their independent lives. The female carries a single offspring for a gestation period of approximately eight months, after which she gives birth in a secluded ice cave, providing protection from the harsh environment and other predators.
The mother remains with her young for the first year, teaching survival skills essential for life on the Dark Side, such as tracking and heat detection. After this period, the juvenile is left to fend for itself, as the mother returns to her solitary lifestyle. Glacioks reach full maturity around age five and can live up to 40-50 years, adding to their role as long-term stabilizers within the ecosystem.
Tactical Advice for Dungeon Masters
Glacioks prefer to strike at warm targets and aim to overwhelm quickly. Use their perception advantage to track players and allow the Glaciok to ambush them effectively. Its heat-detecting ability means it can follow prey through darkness with ease, making it a relentless hunter on the Dark Side of VOI 700 D.
