FEDERAL ALLOTMENT AGENCY BUILDING

Overview

  • Location: Civic Ring, New Kourou
  • Address: SE Civic Ring Road 1
  • Surroundings: Located in the bustling Civic Ring, close to other key government institutions and within view of the Federal Council Building.

The Federal Allotment Agency (FAA) Building is the headquarters of the Federal Allotment Agency, a pivotal institution in the Communard economic structure. Established in 2633 by the administration of Supreme Councilor Aisha Patel, the FAA oversees the Allotment System, a post-currency economic model developed by the Communards following the Great War.Through this system, citizens receive annual Allotment Cards, which they use to access goods and services in so called Federal Allotment Centers across the Federal Confederation. The AI system GAIA - operated by the Federal GAIA Agency – plays a crucial role in calculating the specific provisions each citizen is entitled to, based on factors such as occupation and community needs. The FAA’s role is central to implementing and maintaining this system, distributing resources equitably, and ensuring compliance with federal economic guidelines.

Key Facilities within the Federal Allotment Agency Building

Ground Floor:

  • Resource Management Department: Manages available resources, coordinates with GAIA to assess resource availability, and oversees the Federal Allotment Centers. This department also manages the Federal Waste and Recycling System (FWRS), ensuring resources are used sustainably and waste is effectively managed.
  • Compliance and Enforcement Department: Monitors allotment system compliance, detects misuse, and enforces regulations. Staff work with GAIA’s data insights to ensure fairness in distribution and prevent violations of the allotment rules.

Second Floor:

  • GAIA Integration Department: This department manages the integration of GAIA with the Allotment System, ensuring the accurate calculation and efficient distribution of allotment resources. Staff work closely with data analysts to streamline GAIA’s role in resource allocation.
  • Allotment Distribution Department: Manages the issuance of annual Allotment Cards, delivered at the beginning of each year to citizens' workplaces. This department also administers Vouchers, issued for urgent needs outside the standard allotment.

Third Floor:

  • Director’s Office: The FAA Director’s office oversees strategic planning, policy development, and general administration. The Director holds ultimate responsibility for the agency’s function and goals.

Security Measures

Given the FAA’s critical role in the resource-based economy, it maintains a range of security protocols:

  • Guarded Entrances: One Deputy from the Federal Sheriff’s Department monitor all building entrances.
  • Floor Security: Each floor has an assigned deputy to oversee secure handling of resources and sensitive data.
  • Allotment Distribution Security: Extra security is assigned to the Allotment Distribution Department, especially during the annual issuance of Allotment Cards.
  • Secure Evidence and Compliance Storage: The Compliance and Enforcement Department has restricted storage for evidence related to misuse cases.
  • Analog Alert System: The building is equipped with an Analog Siren System to immediately notify the Federal Sheriff’s Headquarters in the event of a safety threat.
