BOGFANG
Overview
Known as “Zaru-Dak” by the Orlanda Tribe, the Bogfang is a formidable marsh predator that lurks beneath roots and submerged tree trunks of the Orlanda Marshes on VOI 700 D. Regarded with both fear and reverence, the Orlanda see the Bogfang as a spiritual guardian of sacred pools, and its presence marks a place as either protected or cursed.
Solitary and elusive, the Bogfang ambushes prey from shadowed waters, coiling among roots before striking with lightning-fast jaws. Few see it directly; its horns and glowing scales in the dark water have inspired tribal myths of a spectral watcher.
