2 | Read-Aloud Descriptions
Initial Read-Aloud (Scene Opening)
You push aside a heavy fabric curtain and are immediately wrapped in warmth, candlelight, and the low hum of voices. On a tiny stage of reclaimed steel plates, Mira Reis stands bathed in soft amber glow, finishing the last lines of her ballad "The Last Horizon". Her voice — warm, scarred, and steady — drifts across the room like a promise from a world that still remembers the sun.

As she holds the final note, the crowd erupts into applause. Miners slap their tables, couriers whistle, and even the Butler Bot flashes a polite blue light of appreciation. Mira bows with a faint smile, stepping back as the room settles into its usual rhythm of chatter, dice clatters, and clinking cups.

Candle flames flicker inside old Space Beer bottles, throwing trembling amber glints across worn wooden tables. The dark Lumira pine walls shimmer faintly with their bioluminescent grain — glowing like slow heartbeats under the soft light.

Behind the bar, Trixi Da Vinci calls out drink orders with her signature grin, while the Butler Bot slides glasses across polished wood with mechanical precision. Perched proudly nearby on her pedestal sits the taxidermied shepherd dog Gloria, a bone laid reverently before her paws. Framed photos around her whisper a story of defiance — and the price paid for loyalty.

Above the bar, a clock hangs frozen forever on "Pleasure Time" beneath the painted words:
If it never gets bright, you will never have to get sober.

The geothermal pipes hum beneath the floor like a heartbeat, mirroring the pulse of laughter, singing, and defiant joy all around you.

Welcome to Saloon Gloria — Firetown’s warmest rebellion.
