2 | Read-Aloud Descriptions
Initial Read-Aloud (Scene Opening)
The Firetown Darts Club squats low against the night — a single-story stack of cargo containers, skinned in patched starship hull plates and welded braces that glint dull under district neon. Above the entrance, a rough wooden canopy of reclaimed beams juts out like a makeshift porch, dusted with frost and ash.

Two burn barrels hiss on either side of the door, throwing restless orange light across rivets, scrape marks, and old shipping codes half-painted over.A handwritten note hangs crookedly on the lock plate:

//“Because some can’t lose, you all lose today. We are renovating Firetown Darts Club as some guys tried to challenge our bouncers… If you wanna have some fun, try our Billiards Saloon around the corner.”//

Behind the container walls, there’s no music — but you catch the faintest hint of what usually lives in there: stale Space Beer, resin-worn wood, and chewing tobacco trapped in cold metal seams.

The door stays shut. The street stays quiet.
Like it’s waiting to see what you try next.

Staged Read-Alouds (Progressive Descriptions)
| **Trigger / Timing** | **Read-Aloud Cue** |
| **If PCs haven’t met Lethabo Munkh yet** | A stumbling figure rounds the corner, swaying in the dim red glow of the neon lights. The fire barrels reflect in his glassy eyes as he mutters to himself, barely aware of your presence. |
| **If PCs turn their heads and look around** | The rest of the Entertainment District flickers to life behind you — red, blue, and green neon tubes bursting through the dark. Signs for the Billiards Saloon, Saloon Gloria, and the Red Wheel pulse in the gloom, calling wanderers deeper into Firetown’s nightlife. |

3 | Scene Intent
| **Scene Type** | **Player Intents** | **DM Function / Story Link** |
| **Social · Rumor Discovery** | Talk · help · gather intel | Probability to meet Lethabo Munkh (if PCs haven’t already) and obtain intel needed for the Local Guarding Trooper Station. |

----

4 | Key (N)PCs + Dynamic Cues
| **Name** | **Role / Affiliation** | **Motivation / Goal** | **Dynamic Cues — How They React in Play** | **Wiki Link** |
| **Lethabo Munkh** (only if PCs haven’t met him earlier) | Off-duty Guarding Trooper | Recover 600 K debt · Hide shame from pregnant wife in the Hope Region | Drunk, bitter, embarrassed; softens if PCs show empathy. Can sell intel at three levels (see Trigger Table). | — |

----

5 | Triggers, Clues & Consequences
**Trigger / Cue** | **Immediate Reaction / What Happens** | **Future Hook / Consequence** |
| 📝 **PCs read the note on the door** | They confirm the Darts Club is closed due to a brawl. | PCs choose next destination (e.g., follow the note to the Firetown Billiards Saloon). |
| 🗣️ **PCs talk to Lethabo Munkh** | He vents about losing 600 K after being lured by a fake “miner” (Cartel catcher Dagg Rin). A CHARISMA (Persuasion) check (DC 13) + empathy gets him talking. | Unlocks intel tiers below. |
| 🤝 **PCs show empathy only** | He rubs his face, ashamed. “Station’s a mess… shift overlaps… that damn ‘17:00 Circle Walk’…” | Basic intel → soft clue toward Mission Goal |
| 💵 **PCs offer ~150 K** | He leans in, voice lowering. “Listen… I’ll tell you the real guard routines… who sleeps on shift… where they don’t watch…” | Reveals Station layout and routine. |
| 💰 **PCs offer ~300 K** | He nods slowly, gripping your arm. “Fine… I’ll give you more." He promises to register a fake 10:30–11:30 interrogation slot for the Nameless Man, logged as a visit from the Local Community Center of New Kourou, and to create light paperwork distraction during that hour – unlocking the “Lethabo interrogation window” trigger in Scene 9. | Grants a 60 minutes timing window at the Local Guarding Trooper Station → Advantage on Stealth/Social check. |
| 🍻 **PCs invite him for a drink elsewhere** | He agrees, stumbling. “Yeah… anywhere but this street.” | PCs must pick a destination (Gloria, German Imbiss, Billiards Saloon). |

6 | DM Notes
  * **Purpose of This Scene:**
    - Provide an alternative location for meeting Lethabo Munkh
    - Ensure the PCs always have a path to Station intel about the Local Guarding Trooper Station
    - Offer an organic reason to redirect players to the Billiards Saloon or another Hub location

  * **When to Use Lethabo:**
    - Only if the PCs did not encounter him before (e.g, at the Red Wheel)
    - If they already met him, the corner stays empty, and this is simply a “closed venue” scene

  * **How to Play Munkh:**
    - Embarrassed, shoulders slumped
    - Feels like he failed his pregnant wife in Hope
    - Angry at the Cartel’s fake miner (“Dagg Rin… may he rot…” /check Scene 8a German Imbiss)
    - Opens up easily once empathy or money is shown
    - Relieved when PCs invite him elsewhere → gives him dignity back

  * **What Munkh Can Provide:**
    - Soft gossip (free)
    - Guard routines + layout (~150 K)
    - 60-minute timeslot with the Nameless Man and a chance to free him (~300 K)
    - Small emotional scenes if PCs take him somewhere to drink

  * **Tone to Maintain:**
    - Cold street · frustration · a defeated Trooper looking for a way out
    - Low danger, but high narrative value
