Context and Historical Background
Origins as a Hunting Tool
The Senti Hunting Bow was originally a tool for survival rather than combat. Its precision and long range made it an ideal weapon for hunting the elusive Odo, a bison-like creature that roams the Senti steppes. The bow was carefully engineered to allow Senti hunters to strike from a distance, avoiding the danger of Odo's defensive charges.

The Great War
During the Great War, the Senti Tribe was forced to adapt their hunting tools for war as exohuman settlers encroached upon their lands. Facing superior technology and organized military forces, the Senti relied on guerrilla tactics, using their hunting bows for ambushes and long-range engagements. These bows became synonymous with the tribe’s resilience and ability to turn the tools of survival into instruments of war.

Spread to the Black Market
In the aftermath of the war, many Senti Hunting Bows found their way into the hands of Outlaws. Trade, theft, and war spoils brought the bows to settlements like Firetown, where they became a prized item on the Black Market. The Jane Mendoza Gang is rumored to stockpile these bows, leveraging their range and precision for ambushes and sniper raids on Federal Courier Caravans.

Materials and Crafting
 * **Material:** The bow is crafted from Hoo horn, a material known for its flexibility and strength. This ensures the bow can withstand repeated use while maintaining its power.
 * **String:** Sinew from the Odo, treated with oils for enhanced durability and a silent draw.
 * **Design:** The bow’s aerodynamic curves are optimized for both accuracy and range. Intricate carvings of steppeland motifs adorn its body, symbolizing the Senti’s connection to their environment.

Arrows
 * **Shaft:** Lightweight Odo bone, which provides exceptional balance and penetration power.
 * **Tips:** Hardened bone tips treated for armor-piercing capabilities.
 * **Fletching:** Feathers from Borr vultures, chosen for their resilience and aerodynamic properties.

Tactical Advice for Dungeon Masters
 * **Mobility Challenges:** Highlight the bow’s Mobility Strike ability by introducing fast-moving targets that encourage tactical positioning and quick thinking.
 * **Black Market Quests:** Introduce the bow as a rare and valuable item in Black Market dealings. Players could encounter moral dilemmas involving the Jane Mendoza Gang or Senti elders seeking to recover stolen bows.
 * **Environmental Hazards:** Combine the bow’s use with the dangers of the steppe, such as Odo herds or sudden storms, to create high-stakes combat and survival encounters.
 * **Senti Allies or Adversaries:** Depending on the narrative, the Senti Tribe could assist players with their bows during a mutual conflict or become formidable foes protecting their lands.
