Background
Rajesh Rajaonarivelo was once an ambitious engineer, known for his expertise and technical skills. However, the tragic loss of his family during the Great War marked a profound turning point in his life, causing him to withdraw from his previous ambitions. Three years ago, the GAIA system assigned Rajesh as a cart courier for the Federal Copper Mine, finding comfort in the monotonous structure and routines of his role. Although his intelligence and experience remain sharp, Rajesh has become a quiet, solitary figure, finding solace in the predictability of his duties and harboring deep-seated resentment toward the Natives, whom he blames for his family’s death.

**Responsibilities:**

 * Transports materials and equipment between Federal Copper Mine and Federal Copper Plant
 * Monitors and maintains his cart and tools to ensure safe and efficient transport.
 * Carries a hand-cranked air horn as his primary alert device, ensuring he can sound an alarm if he detects potential dangers or security breaches

Personality
 * **Traits:** Introverted, intelligent, pragmatic
 * **Behavior:** Rajesh speaks rarely, preferring to stay in the background. When he does share his thoughts, they are often insightful and to the point. He is mistrustful of authority, preferring his independence, and carries a deep-seated hatred for the Natives due to his personal loss. Despite his withdrawn nature, Rajesh supports any cause that opposes the Peace Treaty with the Natives, seeing it as an injustice to his family's memory.
 * **Values:** Rajesh values stability and structure, finding solace in his repetitive daily tasks. While he remains bitter, his intelligence and attention to detail make him a reliable figure within the mining community.

Physical Attributes
 * **Height:** 1.74 meters
 * **Weight:** 78 kg
 * **Appearance:** Rajesh keeps an old leather pouch close at hand, containing small mementos of his lost family. His eyesight has begun to fade slightly with age, but his acute hearing and extensive experience in the field make up for this. His demeanor is quiet yet intense, with a distant gaze that reveals the weight of his past.

**Special Abilities:**

 * **None:** Rajesh does not have advanced tactical abilities, focusing instead on his assigned duties.

Motivations and Goals
Rajesh harbors a deep-seated desire for retribution against the Natives, whom he holds responsible for his family's death. While he lacks the means or inclination to act on this directly, he silently supports actions that go against the peace treaty, hoping one day to see what he views as justice. His primary aim is to continue his work quietly, finding refuge in the structure it provides, while quietly opposing what he perceives as concessions made to the Natives.

Tactical Advice for Dungeon Masters
Rajesh offers a compelling NPC for players interested in mining operations or uncovering the silent dissent against the peace treaty within the Federal Confederation. His bitterness and introverted nature make him unlikely to share information unless players earn his trust, perhaps by showing similar disdain for the treaty or offering sympathy for his loss. Rajesh can serve as a source of insight into the struggles of those who have lost loved ones to the Great War and the impact of GAIA’s assignments on individuals. His skill with mining tools and cautious demeanor make him an unlikely but capable ally in dangerous situations, although his lack of formal combat training limits his effectiveness.
