* **Analog Alert System:** Siren link to the Local Sheriff’s Office for incidents or safety threats

Player Interaction Possibilities
**Legal (GAIA Assignments)**

 * Serve a rotation at the counter line—validate cards, portion plates, keep queue times within target.
 * Assist sanitation between slots—meet turnover timers and document hygiene checks.
 * Support the admin desk—reconcile slot manifests with delivered crates and plate counts.
 * Join the storage team—FIFO the day’s cans, log temps, and prep the next slot’s racks.

**Illegal**

 * Skim sealed cans to resell at a black-market stall.
 * Forge a slot manifest to sneak extra diners into a peak slot.
 * Plant contraband in storage to compromise the Manager.

Particularities — Timed Slot Allocation & Card Validation
Slots are auto-assigned by GAIA to balance demand and distance from residences/workplaces. Entry requires a valid Allotment Card scan; mismatches (slot/time/identity) trigger manual review at the counter and potential referral to the Agency clerk.

Particularities — Closed-Loop Waste & Tableware Cycle
The canteen participates in a strict circular flow: reusable ceramics and steel cutlery cycle through local sanitation; empty cans return to Hope for sterilization; edible leftovers feed Hoo teams via the Organic Waste Recycling Plant — minimizing waste and transport loads.

Tactical Advice for Dungeon Masters
 * **Peak-Slot Bottleneck:** A courier delay threatens Slot 2; players must reflow seating, negotiate swaps, or fetch a shortfall crate from a nearby depot.
 * **Card Clash:** Duplicate card pings at the counter point to identity fraud or ledger desync—investigate before the slot collapses.
 * **Waste Loop Sabotage:** Contaminated leftovers risk the Hoo teams; trace the source and secure the waste chain.
