FEDERAL BREEDING & TRAINING STATION FOR VEYRAS (FBTSV)
Overview
 * **Location:** Hope
 * **Address:** Situated in the Farmbelt around Hope
 * **Surroundings:** Near the Federal Courier Service staging grounds; adjacent to rotational grazing strips

The Federal Breeding & Training Station for Veyras (FBTSV) is one of the most important symbols of cooperation between Exohumans and the Senti Tribe following the Great War.

Founded in 2632, the station was established to solve a problem that had frustrated both civilizations: the inability to successfully breed Veyras outside their native steppe environment.

For generations, the Senti possessed unrivaled practical knowledge of Veyra behavior, herd structures, and the raising of Nara-Vey. Exohuman researchers contributed veterinary medicine, biological sciences, and systematic breeding methodologies. By combining both traditions, the station achieved the first successful captive breeding program in recorded history.

The FBTSV therefore serves not only as a breeding and training facility, but also as a living monument to reconciliation after the war and a demonstration of the benefits of cooperation between Humans and Native Tribes.

Today, the station breeds and trains Veyras for the Federal Courier Service, the Federal Sheriff, local sheriff offices, scientific expeditions, and other organizations authorized by the Federal Allotment Agency.

Operations are supervised jointly by Exohuman specialists and Senti advisors. Animal allocation is coordinated through the Federal Allotment Agency and approved by GAIA in accordance with transportation priorities, environmental quotas, and Peace Treaty regulations.

Historical Significance
The inability to breed Veyras outside their native steppe environment was considered one of the great unsolved biological mysteries of both Exohuman and Senti societies.

Early Exohuman attempts focused on nutrition, veterinary medicine, and controlled breeding programs. Despite considerable effort, foals born in captivity rarely survived beyond their first months.

Following the Peace Treaty, Senti Herdkeepers were invited to collaborate with Exohuman researchers. The resulting studies revealed that successful Veyra reproduction depended not only on biological factors but also on environmental and social conditions.

Researchers discovered that pregnant females required access to specific mineral-rich grazing areas similar to those found in the Asari steppes. More importantly, newborn foals needed to grow up within stable, multi-generational herd structures that mirrored those found in the wild.

The breakthrough became one of the earliest major successes of Human-Senti cooperation and is frequently cited by Communard politicians as evidence that collaboration between civilizations creates outcomes neither side could achieve alone.

 - Forge allocation seals to divert a prime express pair.
 - Dope or salt feed to sabotage a rival rider’s pairing.

Tactical Advice for Dungeon Masters
 * **Adventure Hook — The Trainer Who Vanished:** During an early-shift drill under perpetual twilight, a young Veyra returns to the loading apron without its trainer. The lunge line’s quick-release is intact; the knot is neatly re-tied with an unusual left-handed turn. A search of the sprint oval, endurance loop, and barns finds no scuff marks, no blood, no broken rails — no obvious trace. The Federal Sheriff deputizes the party to investigate …
