BERMUDA INC.
Overview
* **Founded:** August 2626
* **Founder:** Vaclav Bermuda, ex‑prisoner turned salvage industrialist
* **Headquarters:** Bermuda Inc. Manufactory, New Kourou
* **Materials:** Reclaimed glass (windows), plastics, metal alloys & composites scavenged from the Last Frontier wreck
* **Purpose:** Fashion utilitarian containers — bottles, flasks, jerrycans, bowls & vessels — from frontier wreckage

Bermuda Inc. sprang up when Vaclav Bermuda, newly freed after the Last Frontier crash, recognized that ship debris could become everyday wares. By buying salvaged panes, hull‑plating and plastics from the Free State of Settlers’s recycling stockpile, he built a robust upcycling enterprise. Within a few seasons, his rugged, slightly irregular pieces were everywhere — especially in the hands of Mistspring Water Inc. and Space Drinks Inc., who together took half his output.
History
* **April 2626:** Vaclav Bermuda is released from the Last Frontier prison module. A chance experiment turning a cracked viewport pane into a flask inspires the first batch of salvage glassware.
* **August 2626:** Small workshops set up in New Kourou’s scrapyard district. A rival ex‑inmate claims he originally conceived the idea, but Vaclav’s determination wins local investors.
* **2627–2630:** Line expands—plastic ‑ lined jerrycans, composite vessels, metal‑glass bowls, mugs and drinking glasses. Major contracts with Mistspring Water and Space Drinks cement his success.
* **Monthly “Bottle Parties”:** To reduce material costs, Bermuda Inc. organizes settlement “Bottle Parties” where Bottle Collectors buy back empties at 0.10 K each, creating a low‑cost return stream for raw materials.
* **2631–2632:** Federal Confederation nationalizes private factories. Bermuda Inc. is folded into the new Federal Pottery in Hope; Vaclav vanishes shortly thereafter, rumored to lead caravan ambushes along the Trade Route.

Distribution & Business Model
* **Contract Manufacturing –** 50 % of output dedicated to Mistspring Water Inc. and Space Drinks Inc.; the balance goes to taverns, trading posts, and frontier households.
* **Salvage‑Sourced Production –** Parts and materials sourced directly from Last Frontier wreckage; minimal new resource extraction.
* **Bottle Collection Network –** Monthly events in frontier settlements collect empties, cutting raw‑material costs and kick‑starting frontier recycling.
* **Post‑Nationalization –** Federal Pottery continues using Bermuda’s molds and processes under state management.
