 | Crafted by [[Mikulíć Inc.]] in the [[[Hope | Hope Region]] (first run December 2626) | Double-pot, oak-smoked plum brandy (48 % ABV) | After one shot +1 on Constitution saves vs. cold for 1 h (body-warming kick) | 22 K per 250 mL wax-sealed ceramic flask | Distillery dismantled; intact flask ≈ 70 K on the black market | Rare even in the [[beta_age|Beta Age]] (lottery); [[the_gamma_age|Gamma Age]] PCs must steal, barter, or uncover forgotten caches |
==== Context & Historical Background ====
When Vinko & Zora Mikulić scoured the Hope Region for a signature harvest, they discovered Tandora fruit —golden, mango-orange drupes whose shimmering skin and bright, nectar-bright citrus flesh captured the “sunlit hope” settlers craved after [[day_zero|Day Zero.]] Convinced Tandora could rival Old-[[the_earth|Earth]] stone fruits in brandy making, the siblings adapted their pre-crash distilling notes: pits were kiln-smoked over reclaimed cryo-tube oak, flesh slow-fermented in small ceramic vats, and the double-pot still was tuned to preserve Tandora’s tropical esters.
Released in early 2627 as Slivovitz Superior, the spirit instantly set Mikulić Inc. apart from its volume-driven rival [[space_drinks_inc|Space Drinks Inc.]]. Only 300 flasks left the Hope hillside each quarter, every wax seal stamped with a stylised Tandora blossom — making the brandy a liquid emblem of frontier craftsmanship and scarcity.
===== Ingredients & Process section =====
  * **Tandora Fruit** — golden, shimmering drupes from Hope-Region orchards, flavour halfway between orange and mango; pulp is slow-fermented for rich esters.
  * **Oak-Smoked Tandora Pits** — fruit stones kiln-smoked in reclaimed cryo-tube oak, lending the spirit its trademark camp-fire echo.
  * **Arla Headwater** — spring water from the [[arla_river|Arla River]] used to proof the spirit to 48 % ABV.
  * **Double Pot-Distillation** — first run strips, second run refines; hearts collected at 78 °C, then rested in ceramic crocks three months.
  * **Wax-Seal & Stamp** — soft red, rich amber plant-wax cap over a clay stopper; each seal stamped with a stylised Tandora blossom sigil and batch number.
===== Legacy & Impact =====
  * **Ceramic Status** — Empty flasks became courting gifts; Gamma Age families display them on mantel shrines to signal “good taste and good luck.”
  * **Bootleg Danger** — Copycat “Pit-Burn Brandy” skips the oak smoke and runs hot; Con save DC 14 or take 1d4 poison damage on bad swig.
===== Tactical Advice for Dungeon Masters =====
  * **Heirloom Heist** — A clan’s prized Batch 001 flask is stolen; track thieves across black-market auctions.
