 ===== Look and Feel =====
-The Editorial Office has a subdued, functional atmosphere. Rows of desks stacked with handwritten notes, printed drafts, and photo reels fill the main newsroom. The hum of typewriters and the shuffle of papers dominate the soundscape, punctuated by quiet editorial debates. Walls are bare except for clipped articles pinned to corkboards and GAIA-approved posters reminding staff of journalistic standards.
+The Editorial Office was established in 2634 to serve as the production center of the newly created [[the_weekly_gazette|Weekly Gazette]]. Under the Independent Press Act, the Communard government mandated the creation of an independent public press, and the Federal News Agency set up the Editorial Office within the Federal News Building to fulfill this mission.
+From its inception, the office became the focal point of journalistic activity on [[the_planet_voi_700_d|VOI 700 D]], tasked with balancing investigative reporting, political discourse, and cultural coverage under the oversight of the [[federal_council|Federal Council]] and the [[gaia_system|GAIA system]].
