+The Drop Outs are nomads, traversing the Dark Side on their mounts, [[xzonomi|Xzonomis]] — massive, blind creatures from the Northern Region. These creatures, named for their eerie silence and spiral-shaped horns, use advanced echolocation to navigate the pitch-black terrain, making them ideal companions for survival in the Dark Side’s harsh environment.
+==== Protection Against the Cold ====
+To endure the extreme cold of the Dark Side, the Drop Outs rely on modified spacesuits scavenged from the spaceship [[last_frontier|Last Frontier]]. These suits are insulated with a thick layer of [[korozo|Korozo]] fur, providing exceptional warmth. Their helmets have been replaced with Korozo skulls, lined with fur on the inside, serving both as protection and as a mask to shield their faces from the freezing winds.
+==== Campsites and Shelter ====
+The Drop Outs establish temporary campsites that are strategically positioned to minimize exposure to the elements and evade detection. They set up Korozo-hide tents, insulated with additional layers of fur and waterproofed with natural oils extracted from the Dark Sea fish.
+  * **Heating Solutions:** The Drop Outs use Hearth Stones, volcanic rocks collected from geologically active regions of the Dark Side, which retain heat for extended periods after being heated in portable fire pits. These stones are carefully placed within the tents to maintain warmth without producing light that could attract predators or enemies.
+  * **Spider Web Traps:** Campsites are surrounded by their signature [[Spider Web Traps|Spider Web Traps]], strung between rocky outcroppings to catch potential prey or alert the group to approaching intruders.
+==== Sleeping Arrangements ====
+  * **Shared Warmth:** Members sleep close together, using body heat and thick fur bedding to conserve warmth.
+  * **Mount Shelters:** Munduna are tethered in wind-shielded enclosures made from woven Korozo fur, allowing them to rest without exposure to the biting cold.
+  * **Silent Alarms:** Bells made of hollowed-out bones are strung along the Spider Web Traps. Any disturbance causes a subtle vibration that resonates through the camp, silently alerting the Drop Outs to danger.
+By combining ingenuity and natural resources, the Drop Outs have adapted to the unforgiving Dark Side, transforming it into a home that reflects their defiance and resilience.
+===== Armament and Equipment of the Gang =====
+The Drop Outs do not manufacture their own weapons or equipment. Instead, they rely on ambushes and opportunistic trades to acquire the arms and tools they need for survival. Despite their resourceful nature, they deliberately avoid the black market, refusing to engage with the Jane Mendoza Gang and its networks of influence.
+===== Notable Ambushes =====
+The authorities have documented three major ambushes carried out by the Drop Outs, highlighting their tactical skill and daring:
+==== March 2628: The Firetown Heist ====
+The Drop Outs infiltrated a warehouse in [[firetown|Firetown]], originally a storage site for equipment salvaged from the Last Frontier spaceship.
+  * **Loot:**
+  * 50 reinforced spacesuits
+  * 36 Night Vision Devices
+==== August 2630: The Prisoner Camp Raid ====
+During the [[great_war|Great War]], the Drop Outs ambushed a camp for Native war prisoners located near the eastern border of the [[habitual_belt|Habitual Belt]]. Exploiting the chaos of the conflict, they overwhelmed guards from the [[volunteer_army_of_man|Volunteer Army of Man]].
-To protect themselves from the extreme cold, Drop Outs wear reinforced spacesuits scavenged from the spaceship [[last_frontier|Last Frontier]]. These suits are modified with a thick layer of [[korozo|Korozo]] fur for insulation, and their helmets are replaced with Korozo skulls, lined with fur on the inside to shield their faces from the biting winds.
+  * **Loot:**
+  * 17 [[odo_bonebreaker|Odo Bonebreakers]]
+  * 7 [[windstrike_rifle|Windstrike Rifles]]
-===== Spider Web Traps =====
+==== February 2633: The Federal Caravan Ambush ====
-A hallmark of the Drop Outs’ resourcefulness is their use of Spider Web Traps—large, sticky, nearly invisible nets strung between rocks and outcroppings around their campsites. These traps are highly effective at catching prey or unsuspecting intruders. Victims caught in the webs are often robbed, taken hostage, or worse.
+After the Great War, the Drop Outs intercepted and ambushed a caravan of the [[federal_courier_service|Federal Courier Service]], which was transporting supplies for the [[office_of_the_local_sheriff_of_firetown|Local Sheriff of Firetown]]. The operation was meticulously planned, allowing them to capture a large haul of equipment.
-===== Armament of the Gang =====
+  * **Loot:**
+  * 20 [[federal_gun_crossbow|Federal Gun Crossbows]]
+  * 28 [[federal_stun_gun|Federal Stun Guns]]
+  * 34 produced [[lumilight|Lumilights]]
-The Drop Outs do not manufacture their own weapons. Instead, they rely on ambushes and trades to acquire arms. They refuse to engage in the black market, avoiding the influence of the Jane Mendoza Gang.
