OFFICE OF THE MAYOR OF MORNINGSTAR
Overview
- Location: Central Core, Morningstar
- Address: Benevolence Street 1
- Surroundings: In the settlemen`t core – nearby the Local Sheriff`s Office of Morningstar
The Office of the Mayor of Morningstar is the settlement’s civic administration hub, housing the elected Mayor and their staff. The Mayor manages local governance, infrastructure, and community programs while representing Morningstar in the Federal Council of the Federal Confederation.
The Mayor also participates in the Mayor’s Council, where all four Mayors of the Confederation convene quarterly; Morningstar presides in the fourth quarter (October–December).
A distinctive feature of this office is the presence of the Permanent Supervisor, a Honga chosen to oversee compliance with the Peace Treaty of 2631. The Supervisor maintains their headquarters in Morningstar, as it lies closest to the start of the Honga’s Cycle at the source of the Arla River in the Atrana Mountains. Three Deputies support the Supervisor, though they are often away inspecting the other settlements, making the Supervisor the permanent figure of oversight in Morningstar.
