EXOHUMAN NATIVES

The so called ExoHuman Natives are a subculture of the ExoHumans in the Gamma Age. They chose to live among the Native Tribes on VOI 700-D as a means to foster unity and enlightenment. The most of them were prisoners of war during the Great War, while others were defectors who chose to align themselves more closely with the Natives.

It is estimated that there are about 200 ExoHuman Natives.

According to the first section of the Civil Code of the Federal Confederation, ExoHuman Natives are classified as “Native Residents.” This designation originates from their membership in one of the native tribes as defined under the Peace Treaty. This membership places them under the jurisdiction of the Habitual Belt, Dark Side, or Desert Side of planet VOI 700-D.

Interestingly, even if the ExoHuman Natives were to discontinue their membership in a native tribe, their legal status as “Native Residents” would persist

Role Within Native Tribes

While the Human Natives are well-integrated into the lives and cultures of their chosen Native Tribes, they don't hold positions of significant power or influence within these communities. This is partly because the physiology of humans is generally inferior to that of the Natives. On average, Natives are larger, stronger, and have physical capabilities that humans lack, making it challenging for humans to compete in tribal hierarchies that often value these traits.

The Human Natives contribute to their tribes in ways that align with their more limited physical capabilities, often engaging in roles that leverage their unique human skills or knowledge. However, they are generally not part of the decision-making structures or involved in roles that require advanced physical capabilities.

This limited influence within tribal hierarchies does not diminish the respect or acceptance the Human Natives receive from their Native brethren. They are valued members of their communities, contributing in meaningful ways that underscore their commitment to tribal life and their belief in the unity of all sentient beings on VOI 700-D.

Beliefs

Human Natives have adopted the religion of the Native Tribes, embracing the common creation story and reverence for elemental forces. They have been fully integrated into the tribes they reside with, sharing the view that the gods control elemental forces and that all life must exist in harmony with these elements.

Common Symbol

The most identifiable mark of a Human Native is the Unity Emblem Tattoo. This tattoo consists of a circle enclosing a stylized representation of elemental forces: Earth, Water, Fire, and Air. At the center of the circle is a handprint, symbolizing the divine hands that created the Native Tribes in the “Birthplace of the Gods.” The elements around the hand signify the balance and interconnectedness of life, encapsulating the forces that the gods control.
