GAIA Election Poll: This Year’s Race is Tighter Than Ever
April 5, 2636
While the Communards secured an absolute majority in the first two elections of 2624 and 2632—winning 11 and 10 of 14 seats respectively—the 2636 election appears headed for a much closer result. Polls suggest the Communards are likely to retain the five seats allocated to New Kourou, but in Hope and Morningstar, where three seats are up for grabs in each region, the race is tightening.
In Firetown, a stronghold of the Individualist Party which holds four seats, the Communards could face significant losses. All signs point to an exciting and uncertain election, as the political landscape of the Federal Confederation teeters on the brink of change.
