The Skycleft Howler is a cave-dwelling glider-mammal endemic to the geothermal cave systems of the [[ralar_mountains|Ralar Mountains]] on the [[dark_side|Dark Side]] of [[the_planet_voi_700_d|VOI 700 D]]. Though it resembles no known [[the_earth|Earth]] species, its ecological niche is similar to that of a bat. Skycleft Howlers are known for their shimmering, membrane-like glider wings and their distinctive vocalizations, which serve as both echolocation and social communication tools.

Despite their eerie howls and spectral appearance, Skycleft Howlers are shy and rarely seen. They are drawn to geothermal vents, where warmth and prey are abundant.
