Overview
 * **Location:** Hope
 * **Address;** Riverfront Way 3–12
 * **Surroundings:** Nearby the Route Stop of Hope and the Courier Station of the Hope Region

Perched on the banks of the Arla River, the River Dock Market serves as Hope’s nexus for farm produce and fresh seafood. Nine modular stands and a Vending Machine ring a raised timber pier, offering everything from Misttail Crab skewers and Skyweaver fillets to grain sacks and barge‑fresh dairy. Under the perpetual twilight mist, settlers converge for trade, gossip, and the satisfying crackle of river smoke.

The Riverdock Market was dissolved after the foundation of the Federal Confederation and the introduction of Communardism as new economic model in the year 2633. Its function got replaced by the Federal Allotment System, represented by Federal Allotment Centers like the the Federal Allotment Center of Hope.

 * **Vendor Modules:** 2 × 2 m timber frames with folding shutters and retractable tarps
 * **Service Alley:** Back‑pier pathway for restocking via small barges

Look and Feel
The River Dock Market thrums beneath twilight and drifting mist. You hear the slap of fish scales on chopping blocks as anglers gut their catch, and the hiss of sizzling crab oil. Aromas of sea‑salt, smoked wood, and spiced grains mingle in the tropical air. Settlers in patched shirts haggle over fillet quality as boats unload crates. At the pier’s center, the brazier crackles, and warm light dances on wet wood. Every ripple on the Arla brings the promise of fresh fare — and frontier community.

Roles and Responsibilities
 * **Market Master (ExoHuman):** Grants and revokes stand licenses, enforces pricing caps, adjudicates vendor disputes, and coordinates weekly clearance of unsold goods.
 * **Stand Owners (9):** Each Owner (or Owner-Group) operates one stall — sourcing produce and setting their daily offers
 * **Cleaning Bot (1):** The Cleaning Bot cleans the aisles, sweeping raised decks, sanitizing counters, and triggering the compost-pit grate to clear food scraps.

Public Access & Operations
 * **Hours of Operation:** 07:00–17:00 daily;
 * **Price Audits:** Steward reviews price cards every Wednesday morning
Security Measures
 * **Guarding Troopers Patrol:** Foot beat around the perimeter every two hours
 * **Dispute Bell:** Manual alarm at the Market Master’s booth summons immediate trooper response

Player Interaction Possibilities
**Legal**

 * Browse and purchase fresh produce, meats, and baked goods using Kourou
 * Haggle stall prices within permitted trade margins
 * Place special orders (bulk grain sacks, smoked eel crates) for later pickup
 * Sample small tasters at vendor counters before committing to a full purchase

**Illegal**

 * Slip contraband herb into salad batches
 * Cut price cards to confuse customers
 * Steal a vendor key to access locked modules

Tactical Advice for Dungeon Masters
Use the Food Market as a nexus of commerce and intrigue — traders pushing frontier rations and Guarding Troopers watching for theft. A poisoned batch of Helik granola bars might threaten mass illness; or a midnight raid to reclaim smuggled Hoo cheese could turn into a furious chase across the Public Services Ring.
