Following the conclusion of the [[peace_treaty|Peace Treaty]] with the [[the_natives_tribes_of_voi_700_d|Native Tribes of VOI 700 D]] in 2631, the [[human_settlements_in_the_gamma_age|settlement and housing structure]] of the [[the_humans|ExoHumans]] underwent significant changes at the start of the [[the_gamma_age|Gamma Age]]. 

The treaty mandated ExoHumans vacate all previously occupied areas outside four specifically designated reservations, dramatically reshaping their living patterns and urban organization.

These reservations are strictly[[native_human_behavior_supervision| supervised by Native Tribes]] to ensure treaty compliance. Each reservation is surrounded by a security perimeter known as the Settlement Perimeter Wall, controlled by the Deputies of the [[federal_sheriff|Federal Sheriff]]. All individuals entering or exiting the settlements undergo thorough security checks at designated gates.

Living confined within settlement boundaries, constantly monitored by GAIA and under Native supervision, has rekindled feelings of confinement reminiscent of life aboard the spaceship. This experience has created widespread feelings of disillusionment, frustration, and restlessness among settlers, who often describe themselves as "birds in a cage." These emotions drive some toward rebellion, illegal activities, or joining outlaw groups, further destabilizing ExoHuman society and posing ongoing challenges to Federal authorities.

  * **Escape and Evasion:** Characters may be tasked with smuggling an important individual or valuable items secretly between settlements, evading patrols and overcoming surveillance by GAIA.
  * **Outlaw Settlements:** Players could be sent to locate hidden settlements established by outlaws like the Jane Mendoza Gang. Missions might involve infiltration, sabotage, or even recruitment by these rogue elements.
  * **Family Crisis:** The strict travel limitations offer a dramatic backdrop where players must urgently secure travel authorization for a critical family event, such as a wedding, funeral, or medical emergency — potentially requiring favors, diplomatic skills, or stealth.
  * **Native Supervision:** Encounters involving Native observers supervising the perimeter walls could introduce delicate diplomatic situations, testing the players’ ability to balance ExoHuman and Native interests.
