The Federal Breeding & Training Station for Hoos (FBTSH) is the Federal Confederation’s draft-animal hub for breeding, training, allocation, and retirement coordination. Established in 2632, it supports the Federal Courier Service (FCS) caravan teams and field traction needs of the Federal Food Plant. The station operates under the Federal Allotment Agency with assignments set by GAIA in accordance with Peace Treaty energy limits and permitted-corridor use.

Architectural Significance
A low-energy, multi-barn complex in local stone and timber, designed for passive comfort and safe animal handling in the Habitual Belt’s ambient twilight.
* **Materials:** Rubble-stone base walls, timber frames, clay-tile roofs; limewash interiors for visibility.
* **Lighting (No Electric High-Bays):** Clerestories and ridge vents give diffuse light; after-hours, hooded oil lamps and baseboard Luminofera dualis runs; ambient twilight suffices outdoors — no floodlights.
* **Ventilation & Acoustics:** Cross-vented aisles, ridge vents, quiet rubber pavers; loft voids buffer sound.
* **Energy Use:** Gravity-fed water to troughs; hand-crank winches and block-and-tackle for lifts; manure heat in winter bays; biogas stove in the farrier corner.
