Under the [[federal_confederation|Federal Confederation]], however, they were banned by the [[peace_treaty|Peace Treaty’s]] energy regulations. A few still function secretly in [[Firetown|Firetown]]’s black-market infrastructure, quietly scrubbing away evidence of human excess.
